Get Lost in the Picasso Museum
Pablo Picasso’s connection to Barcelona is apparent in his works and a visit to the Picasso Museum seems only customary. Over 4,200 works of the late artist are housed in a series of medieval palaces on Carrer de Montcada. The museum features the formative years of Picasso up to his Blue Period. Museum hours are 10-5 pm Monday, 9-8:30 pm Tuesday through Sunday with extended hours on Thursdays.
Relax in Plaça Reial
This laid-back but lively square near Las Ramblas is a nice spot to catch your breath, eat a meal, have a drink and people watch. If you’re tired from a walk along Las Ramblas or a day of shopping the Portal de l’Angel, this large square is the perfect place to wind down.
